The Maharashtra Government has approved the Nagpur Vidhan Bhavan project with an estimated investment of over 1,000 INR-Crore. The Cabinet Infrastructure Development Committee cleared the proposal on Wednesday, March 11. The new complex will be developed in Nagpur to replace the existing legislative infrastructure.
The project will be executed across two plots within the existing premises. Plot 1 will include the main legislative building and annexes, with a budget of 662.89 INR-Crore. Plot 2 will house an administrative tower and offices, with an allocation of 339.78 INR-Crore. The development will include assembly and council halls, committee rooms, offices, media zones, and security infrastructure. Additionally, a 14-storey administrative tower will be constructed and connected to the main complex through an underground link.

Once completed, the Nagpur Vidhan Bhavan project will modernize legislative infrastructure in Maharashtra. It will also support administrative efficiency and accommodate future expansion of government functions in the city.
