Yogi Adityanath has inaugurated and laid the foundation for multiple projects under the Greater Agra township project in Agra. The total investment across these developments stands at 6,466 INR-Crore. The announcement was made on Tuesday, April 7, covering a wide range of urban infrastructure works in the city.
The Greater Agra township will be developed by the Agra Development Authority under the state’s urban expansion programme. The township will span 449.65 Hectares and will involve an investment of approximately 5,142 INR-Crore. It will further include 10 planned residential sectors, along with internal roads, sewerage systems, green spaces, and civic infrastructure. The development will cater to over 10,000 families and will include group housing and plotted developments.

Once implemented, the Greater Agra township project will expand urban infrastructure in the city and support planned residential growth. It will also to strengthen connectivity, housing supply, and integrated urban development in Agra.
