Foundation stone laid for 303 INR-Crore NH-33 road project in Ranchi

National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) have laid the foundation stone for the NH-33 road project in Ranchi, Jharkhand, with an estimated investment of 303 INR-Crore. The announcement was made on Saturday, April 11. It marks the start of a major highway infrastructure upgrade along National Highway 33.

The project includes development of key road infrastructure components such as a 1.240 Km long tunnel and a four lane flyover along the NH-33 corridor. These interventions aim to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion at critical junctions. The works will enhance road geometry and support safer vehicular movement across high-density traffic zones.

Once completed, the NH-33 road project will improve regional connectivity and reduce travel delays. It will also support logistics movement and strengthen transport infrastructure in and around Ranchi.
