VOX India has unveiled the Signature Series x Sumessh Menon Edition, a collection co-created with architect Sumessh Menon. Titled “Curves & Contemporary Shapes,” the collection introduces a new design language for the brand’s ceiling and wall systems.
It moves beyond conventional flat panels to explore expressive, sculpted forms that bring greater character to interior surfaces.
The Hero Product – Copper (SV(P) 30 SS Curve)
Copper is a sculpted, curved profile featuring a living-metal finish. Sumessh Menon selected copper for its evolution from an overlooked metal into a luxury material in its own right. Its warmth and changing finish give the product a distinctive material identity. Depending on the surrounding light, the surface appears understated and monolithic during the day, while revealing warmer tones and greater depth in the evening.
The Range
The Curve profile comes in an extensive colour palette across three finishes. The Unicolour range includes White, Brown, Graphite, Black, Anthracite Grey, Light Olive and Buttercream. The Wooden range features Golden Oak and Walnut, while the Metallic range includes Metallic Brown and Metallic Gold.
Each panel measures 3,050 mm in length and retains the same sculpted curve profile across all colour options. This consistency gives architects a cohesive design language while allowing flexibility in tonal selection.
The Signature Series
The VOX Signature Series addresses the often-overlooked design potential of walls and ceilings. These surfaces typically receive less attention during project planning, with designers often choosing flat, neutral materials for coverage rather than character. The collection aims to change this approach through a collaboration that brings together an architect’s design vision and the manufacturer’s engineering expertise.
