Brigade Hotel Ventures Limited (BHVL) has signed an MoU with the Tamil Nadu Government to invest an estimated 1,100 INR-Crore in Chennai. The agreements were signed at the Tamil Nadu Global Tourism Summit 2026 and are expected to create over 1,000 high-value jobs.
As part of the investment, BHVL will add more than 500 new keys across three premium properties in Chennai:
- Courtyard by Marriott at Chennai World Trade Center – 45 guestrooms, located just 13 Km from Chennai International Airport.
- Grand Hyatt Chennai ECR – a premier resort with approximately 211 guest rooms.
- JW Marriott Chennai OMR – featuring around 250 stylishly appointed guest rooms and suites.

Brigade Group has already acquired land for these projects, ensuring timely execution. The initiative aligns with the summit’s objective of bringing together policymakers, global investors, and industry leaders to explore opportunities in hospitality and leisure. By adding over 500 keys across three world-class brands, BHVL plans to expand its portfolio across Chennai while contributing to the state’s economic growth.
