Healthium Medtech will invest 150 INR-Crore to set up its new Unit 2 facility at Sri City Industrial Park in Tirupati district. The investment will be executed in two phases through an MoU signed with the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board (APEDB). With this expansion, the company strengthens its manufacturing base in a region that continues to grow as a major medtech hub.
The upcoming unit will build on the company’s existing operations in Sri City, where it began manufacturing sutures and meshes in 2012. The new facility is planned to generate 300 direct jobs and about 100 indirect opportunities by 2027. Moreover, the expansion supports the increasing need for high-quality, resilient medical device production and advances the state’s goal of deepening its manufacturing ecosystem.
