A helicopter manufacturing facility with an estimated investment of 8,000 INR-Crore is set to be established in Nagpur. Expected to start operating by 2026, it will approximately generate over 2000 direct and indirect job opportunities over the next 8 years.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the same has been signed between Max Aerospace & Aviation Private Limited and the State Industries Department on Friday, June 13. This will be the first project by Maharashtra dedicated to full-scale helicopter manufacturing and customisation.

The State Government will provide all the support necessary for setting up the manufacturing plant, said CM Devendra Fadnavis.
