Palayamkottai in Tirunelveli district will soon house a state-of-the-art library on an anticipated 3 Acres site owned by Tirunelveli Medical College Hospital. Located near the District Industries Centre on South High Ground Road, the Palayamkottai Library project is backed by an estimated 100 INR-Crore investment.
The facility will span around 77,586 SqFt. It will feature a 250-seat auditorium, a competitive examination section, a children’s section with a mini theatre, a digital library, a food court, and five lifts. Additionally, the project aims to create a landmark structure for the region. The detailed project report is under preparation. Meanwhile, private architects are submitting drawings to shape the design of the Palayamkottai Library.
