In June 2026, Biltrax Construction Data documented over 1,690 new construction projects. These include 890 building projects and 800 industrial & infrastructure projects.
Building Construction Projects Insights – June 2026
The 890 new building projects incorporated in June 2026 cover a combined 242.73 Million-SqFt, with a total construction cost of 137,189 INR-Crore. Of these, 350 projects are under construction, while 540 are in the early stages. The breakdown further includes 574 private projects and 316 public projects.
Among the significant construction projects is the MHADA Redevelopment of SVP Nagar in Andheri, Mumbai. The project involves the redevelopment of a residential township on a 73.89 Acres land parcel with a construction area of over 2 Million-SqFt. The estimated construction cost of the project is 4,500 INR-Crore. As of July 2026, the tender for selecting the EPC Contractor is in the technical bid evaluation stage.
Another notable construction project is the NBCC Commercial Complex in Old Rajendra Nagar, Delhi. NBCC is developing the project on a 9.81 Acres land parcel with a construction area of over 2 Million-SqFt. The estimated construction cost stands at 1,069 INR-Crore. As of July 2026, the tender has been floated for the selection of a Consultant to provide comprehensive consultancy services.
In June 2026, Biltrax also recorded 436 new tenders with a total tender value of over 22,771.85 INR-Crore. Notable tender issuers include the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Military Engineer Services (MES), Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC), NBCC (India) Limited and Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department (UPPWD).
Industrial and Infrastructure Projects Insights
In June 2026, Biltrax’s BX-2 platform also documented 430 industrial projects worth 106,837 INR-Crore & 370 infrastructure projects worth 94,325 INR-Crore.
The 430 industrial projects span a total area of 84.52 Million-SqFt. Maharashtra led with 129 projects. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Odisha followed closely.
BX-2 also tracked 262 water infrastructure projects worth 37,339 INR-Crore in June. Karnataka attracted the highest number of water projects. BX-2 documented 30 water infrastructure projects in Karnataka. Haryana, Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Delhi followed closely.
June 2026 also saw major industrial projects. A notable industrial project is the Kira Diam Lab Grown Diamonds Manufacturing Unit in Khordha, Odisha. Kira Diam LLP is developing the project on 10 Acres land parcel with a construction area of approximately 350,000 SqFt. The estimated construction cost of the project stands at 6,900 INR-Crore. Moreover it has a proposed investment of 7,000 INR-Crore. As of July 2026, the proposed project is in a very preliminary stage.
Lastly, a major transport infrastructure project includes the NHIDCL 4-Laning of the Mawlyngkhung to Panchgram Section of NH-6 in Meghalaya and Assam. The project involves the development, maintenance, management and operation of a 164.355 Km greenfield high-speed corridor under the Hybrid Annuity Mode. The estimated construction cost of the project is 14,328 INR-Crore. The project is being developed in four packages. Package 1 covers the stretch from Km 0.000 to Km 45.645 (45.645 Km). Package 2 further covers the stretch from Km 45.645 to Km 78.600 (32.955 Km). Meanwhile, Package 3 covers the stretch from Km 78.600 to Km 133.320 (54.720 Km). Lastly, Package 4 covers the stretch from Km 133.320 to Km 164.355 (31.035 Km).
