Rays Power Infra secures 1,912 INR-Crore renewable energy project

Rays Power Infra Limited has announced the award of a 300 MW renewable energy project from one of India’s Maharatna PSUs. The Rays Power Infra renewable energy project adds 1,912 INR-Crore to the company’s order book, which now exceeds 8,000 INR-Crore.

The project will be developed under the company’s Co-Development Business Model. Moreover, the scope includes land acquisition, interstate transmission system (ISTS) connectivity, and complete Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) execution. It represents one of the largest collaborations between a renewable developer and a central PSU.

Located in Karnataka, the Rays Power Infra renewable energy project will be part of the company’s upcoming renewable energy parks. It is targeted for commissioning within three years. Furthermore, the project will utilize modules manufactured using solar cells from Rays Power’s upcoming facility in Madhya Pradesh, under its subsidiary Rays Green Energy.
