T&T Infra–Univastu JV secures 230 INR-Crore Pune Metro contract

A joint venture between T&T Infra Ltd and Univastu India Ltd has secured a contract from Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited for works under the Pune Metro contract. The contract is valued at an estimated 229.97 INR-Crore.

The scope includes the design and construction of a 1.123 Km elevated metro viaduct on the Vanaz–Chandani Chowk corridor (Line-2A). The project also includes the construction of two metro stations – Kothrud Bus Depot and Chandani Chowk. Additionally, the work involves building an integrated double-decker flyover. It also Includes a foot overbridge connecting the corridor to a national highway, and stabling lines at the Bhakti Shakti end of the PCMC–Nigdi corridor. The project has a scheduled completion timeline of 27 months.

The Pune Metro contract will support the expansion of urban transit infrastructure in the city. Once completed, the development will improve public transport connectivity and strengthen metro mobility across the Pune metropolitan region.
