J. Kumar JV wins 2,360 INR-Crore NHAI contract for Vadhavan Port expressway project

J. Kumar Infraprojects Ltd has received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for the Vadhavan Port expressway project. The contract is valued at an estimated 2,360 INR-Crore and was announced on Wednesday, April 1. The project is awarded to the J. Kumar–SDPL joint venture in Maharashtra.

The project involves construction of a 4-lane expressway expandable to 8 lanes. It will connect Vadhavan Port to Tawa Village on NH-48. The stretch will cover a design length of 32.18 Km. Furthermore, it will be executed on an EPC basis and its scheduled for completion within 30 months.

Once completed, the Vadhavan Port expressway project will improve connectivity to the upcoming port. It will also support regional logistics and enhance transport efficiency in Maharashtra.
