The Delhi Government has planned a residential housing project for judicial officers at the Central Business District in Shahdara, East Delhi. The project involves an estimated investment of 200 INR-Crore and will be developed on an anticipated 10,000 SqM land parcel allotted by the Delhi Development Authority (DDA).
The proposed Shahdara judicial housing project will include 84 residential flats for district and civil judges. The development will comprise 36 flats for district judges with a plinth area of 2,500 SqFt each, along with 48 flats for civil judges measuring 2,000 SqFt each. Additionally, the Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC) has invited consultants for architectural design and engineering planning services. The selected consultant will prepare concept plans, detailed project reports, structural drawings, working drawings, and tender documentation for the project.

Once operational, the Shahdara judicial housing project is expected to strengthen residential infrastructure for judicial officers in Delhi. It will also support planned institutional and civic infrastructure development in East Delhi.
