CNH Industrial to invest 2,000 INR-Crore in India, double tractor manufacturing capacity

CNH Industrial plans to invest around 2,000 INR-Crore in India by 2030. The company announced the investment on August 25. It will invest 1,000 INR-Crore in a new tractor plant near Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The company will invest another 1,000 INR-Crore in research and development and product development.

CNH Industrial will develop the new greenfield plant along the Yamuna Expressway. The Yamuna Expressway Authority has allotted 100 Acres for the project. The facility will increase tractor manufacturing capacity from 70,000 units to 1.4 Lakh units annually. The first phase will add capacity for 20,000 tractors and is expected to become operational by mid-2028. The company plans to complete the full capacity expansion by 2030.

The CNH Industrial India investment will expand the company’s manufacturing capacity in the country. Meanwhile, the company will use the additional R&D investment for domestic and export markets. The development will also support its tractor manufacturing operations and strengthen its production capabilities in India.
