The Telangana Government is planning to build a cricket stadium in Bharat Future City. The project is anticipated over 100 Acres, accommodating more than 1.32 Lakh capacity. This upcoming stadium is larger than the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, which is currently India’s largest cricket stadium.
The government plans to develop the stadium as part of an international-standard, multi-purpose sporting and events facility. The project is currently at the planning stage, with land being identified within Bharat Future City. The proposed stadium will connect with the Outer Ring Road, the proposed Regional Ring Road and the proposed Metro extension to Bharat Future city along with Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.

The new Hyderabad Cricket Stadium is planned to address the limitations of the existing Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium at Uppal, particularly its capacity to host major international events. The new facility is intended to provide a larger, state-of-the-art venue for international sporting and other large-scale events.
