Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone for multiple projects worth an estimated 14,700 INR-Crore in Haryana. The projects span road infrastructure, healthcare, railway, and cultural sectors. The Prime Minister inaugurated the 157.92 Km Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway section developed at a cost of 9,680 INR-Crore. He also inaugurated the 33.81 Km Ambala-Kala Amb Highway on NH-7 and NH-344.
The newly inaugurated Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway section is a four-lane, fully access-controlled Greenfield corridor. It forms part of the 667 Km Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway. Additionally, the Prime Minister laid the foundation stone for the 40.60 Km Jind-Gohana Greenfield Highway on NH-352A and the 24.27 Km Hansi-Barwala Bypass project. Further, he inaugurated the elevated railway track at Kurukshetra. The programme also included the foundation stone for a Sikh Museum at Kurukshetra and the inauguration of major medical institutions, including Pandit Neki Ram Sharma Government Medical College, Bhiwani, Maharishi Chyawan Medical College and Rao Tula Ram Hospital, Rewari.

The Haryana development projects are expected to strengthen regional connectivity and transport infrastructure across the state. Additionally, the expressway and highway projects will reduce travel time, improve logistics efficiency, and ease traffic congestion. The elevated railway track will enhance road safety by eliminating congestion at railway crossings. Meanwhile, the new healthcare facilities will expand medical education capacity and improve access to healthcare services across the region.
