Union Minister inaugurates and lays foundation for 11 National Highway projects, worth 6,350 INR-Crore in Jharkhand

On Thursday, July 03, Union Roads Transport and Highways Minister, Nitin Gadkari, inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 11 National Highway (NH) projects in Jharkhand. The total estimated cost for these projects is 6,450 INR-Crore. Of these projects, 9 are in Ranchi and 2 are in Garhwa. 

In Ranchi, the Union Minister inaugurated the 4.18 Km Ratu Road Flyover, which runs from Raj Bhavan to OTC ground. He launched several other projects, including the 1,900 INR-Crore Palma-Gulma four-lane highway project and the 825 INR-Crore Barhi-Koderma four-lane road. Additionally, smaller projects in Godda (100 INR-Crore), Giridh (20 INR-Crore), Barahat-Tulsipur (70 INR-Crore), and an elevated corridor worth 560 INR-Crore were launched.

In Garhwa, the Union Minister inaugurated a 23 Km four-lane stretch, worth 1,130 INR-Crore, from Shankha to Khajo. Furthermore, he laid the foundation stone for a 32 Km four-lane stretch of National Highway (NH)-39, worth 1,330 INR-Crore, from the Chhattisgarh-Jharkhand border to Gumla.
