Project Overview:
City & Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra Limited (CIDCO) is developing the Maha Awas Housing Scheme at Sector 15, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai. Spread across an anticipated 6.65 Acres, the project will have a total construction area of 1,560,000 SqFt and entails an estimated construction cost of 610 INR-Crore. CIDCO will commence the project in 2026 and plans to complete it by 2030.
The project will comprise 10 residential buildings, each configured as 2 Basements + Stilt + 12 Upper Floors, along with a dedicated clubhouse and extensive landscaped open spaces. The development will provide 473 premium residential units in 3 and 4 BHK configurations, each featuring optional decks. The project is planned exclusively for Members of Parliament (MPs), Members of Legislative Assembly (MLAs), Members of Legislative Council (MLCs), Judges of the Supreme Court and High Court, and serving IAS and IPS officers.
Moreover, the township will integrate premium lifestyle amenities including a clubhouse, society office, children’s play area, yoga center, swimming pool, indoor and outdoor gymnasiums. It further includes squash court, mini auditorium, amphitheater, landscaped gardens, walking and cycling tracks, and community gathering spaces. The ground floor of every residential building will accommodate parking, amenities, and retail facilities, creating a self-sustained residential environment.
Meanwhile, Architect Hafeez Contractor has been appointed as the design architect for the project, while PS Landscape Design And Ecology is responsible for landscape design. Additionally, Capacite Infraprojects Limited will execute the civil works. Structural engineering services are provided by Mahimtura Consultants Private Limited, whereas Hiten Sethi Architects and Tata Consulting Engineers Limited have been appointed as the Program and Project Management Consultants (PMC).
Recent Updates:
As of July 2026, CIDCO has awarded the civil works contract to Capacite Infraprojects Limited following the completion of the tendering process. Construction activities are expected to commence shortly.
