A modern bus terminal is going come on 13 Acres of land near Mango Dimna Chowk in Jamshedpur, industrial hub. The estimated cost of this project is 145.24 INR-Crore. It has received green signal from Urban Development Minister Sudivya Kumar and will be developed under Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM).
The proposal will soon be submitted for administrative approval, and Jharkhand Urban Infrastructure Development Company (JUIDCO) will begin work. A Karnataka-based agency has designed the blueprint. The Jamshedpur bus terminal will have a five-storey main building with 2 basements and 3 upper floors. It will also have a separate commercial building with 1 basement and 3 floors.

The Jamshedpur bus terminal complex will be well-equipped with 50 bus parking spaces, 23 bus bays for drop-off. It will have parking for 300 cars, and 350 two-wheelers. It will also have office space and a warehouse for the Water Resources Department, treatment plants for sewage, water, and waste, and internal roads. The ground floor will have 23 bus bays, 18 ticket counters, a cloakroom, a logistics center, public toilets, a restaurant, and a food court. Meanwhile, on the first floor, there will be an air-conditioned waiting hall with 80 seats. It will also have dormitories for 120 passengers and 60 drivers, another food court, shops, offices, and toilets. The entire terminal will showcase Jharkhandi art and paintings, giving it a unique cultural touch.
