SPML Infra, in joint venture with JWIL Infra, has secured an estimated 1,438 INR-Crore Jal Jeevan Mission project from the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) in Bharatpur, Rajasthan. The contract will upgrade the region’s drinking water network and serve over 1.5 million people in Dholpur and Saipau blocks. The project covers construction, commissioning, and 10 years of operations and maintenance, ensuring sustainable access to clean water.
Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, the JV will build an intake well on the Chambal River and two Raw Water Reservoirs with 10 MCM and 12 MCM capacity in Rajasthan. It will also lay 712 Km of pipelines, ranging in diameter from 100 mm to 2,000 mm. The scope also includes 21 Elevated Service Reservoirs, cluster pumping stations, rising mains, and advanced pumping infrastructure. Additionally, a 135 MLD Water Treatment Plant at RWR-2 and a 5 MLD plant at Dholpur will handle safe water treatment. The project will also provide functional household tap connections (FHTCs) to all targeted households.

The execution timeline for the Jal Jeevan Mission project in Rajasthan is 20 months for EPC works. Following completion, a one-year defect liability period will be in effect before the O&M phase commences. This contract enables SPML Infra to enhance its position as a leading provider of infrastructure solutions, while improving water security and public health in Rajasthan.
