Indian Hotels Company Ltd (IHCL) has signed a joint agreement to open a luxury hotel in Pahalgam under its Gateway brand. The brownfield project, set in the scenic valleys of Jammu & Kashmir, will offer 64 guest rooms.
The hotel will feature amenities such as an all-day dining restaurant, a specialty outlet, and a heated swimming pool. It will also include a spa, gym, health club, and an anticipated 2,000 SqFt banquet hall. IHCL has partnered with Cemtac Cements to develop the new Gateway-branded luxury hotel in Pahalgam.

Furthermore, the Gateway Pahalgam will cater to a diverse range of tourists from those seeking leisure and spiritual solace to adventure and eco-tourism. Suma Venkatesh, Executive VP of Real Estate & Development at IHCL, highlighted the project’s alignment with the company’s strategy of tapping high-potential destinations rich in natural beauty and local tourism infrastructure. Moreover, this hotel in pahalgam becomes its seventh property in the region, with another under development.
