The Chhattisgarh Government has advanced its healthcare infrastructure by approving tender rates for six major construction projects. The approvals came during the 51st board meeting of the Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation Limited (CGMSC) held in New Raipur.
The board approved construction for four new Government medical colleges in Manendragarh, Kabirdham, Janjgir-Champa, and Geedam. It sanctioned a tender valued at an estimated 323.03 INR-Crore for Manendragarh, 318.27 INR-Crore each for Kabirdham and Janjgir-Champa, and 326.53 INR-Crore for Geedam. Consequently, these projects will enhance the healthcare infrastructure network and increase medical education capacity across the state.

In addition, the board cleared the construction of a 220-bed hospital in Manendragarh worth an estimated 28.48 INR-Crore. It also approved a Government Ayurveda College and Hospital in Bilaspur at 79.52 INR-Crore. Moreover, these developments will ensure the timely execution of advanced healthcare infrastructure facilities in both urban and rural regions.
Under Chief Minister Sai’s leadership, the Government has taken a significant step forward. The combined project cost now exceeds an estimated 1,390 INR-Crore, marking strong progress in the healthcare infrastructure expansion of Chhattisgarh. Overall, these projects will drive construction growth, enhance service delivery, and strengthen medical education for the long term.
