Jakson Group launches 8,000 INR-Crore solar project in Madhya Pradesh

Jakson Group has started work on its project worth an estimated investment of 8,000 INR-Crore to establish a 6 GW integrated solar manufacturing facility in Madhya Pradesh. In the first phase, the Jakson Group solar project will include a 2,000 INR-Crore investment to set up 3 GW of solar cell capacity and 4 GW of module production capacity. 

The new solar manufacturing hub will be developed in Maksi, where Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav laid the foundation on Sunday, November 17, for Phase 1. Over the next three years, the project will add 6 GW of ingot, wafer, cell, and module production capacity. Phase 1 will create around 1,700 jobs. The full programme will generate nearly 4,000 opportunities and further strengthen the state as a clean energy manufacturing destination.
