Voltsun Labs has announced an estimated  1,743 INR-Crore investment to set up a new solar cell and module manufacturing facility in Andhra Pradesh. As part of this expansion, the company will develop the facility as a greenfield unit at Naidupeta in Tirupati district. This plan supports the state’s clean-energy growth and contributes to India’s fast-rising renewable sector.

To support the project, the Andhra Pradesh Government has allocated an anticipated 37 Acres of land at a concessional cost. The facility will be developed in two stages. The first phase will set up a 1 GW solar cell unit, and the second phase will add a 1 GW module line. Voltsun Labs will use TOPCon monocrystalline and bifacial technologies to ensure efficient production. The state will also provide external infrastructure, allowing the unit to operate smoothly and maintain strong connectivity.
