Patanjali to set up 118 INR-Crore wellness hub under Andhra’s tourism plan

Giving a boost to Andhra Pradesh’s health and spiritual tourism, the wellness arm of Patanjali will invest an estimated 118 INR-Crore to develop a modern hub at Yendada in Visakhapatnam. The project is approved under the state’s Tourism Land Allotment Policy 2024–29 and will feature a holistic hospital and naturopathy center. The facility will be managed by a consortium including Patanjali Parivahan Pvt Ltd. This marks a significant expansion of the brand’s presence in South India.

The wellness center will be built on a 5 Acres plot in the designated tourism zone at Yendada. Additionally, the center is expected to be fully operational within 30 months. It is expected to create around 2,750 jobs, including 250 direct roles in wellness services, hospitality, logistics, and local supply chains. With support from the state—such as concessional land leases, loan subsidies, stamp duty reimbursements, and marketing assistance—the project aligns with Andhra Pradesh’s plan to boost wellness and health tourism along its 974 Km coastline.

Designed as a center of excellence for Ayurveda, yoga, panchakarma, acupressure, and naturopathy, the hub aims to attract domestic and international wellness seekers. Furthermore, Patanjali Wellness will establish itself as a flagship destination in South India.
