L&T Vyoma begins work on 40 MW AI-ready Data Center in Navi Mumbai

Larsen & Toubro’s digital infrastructure arm, L&T Vyoma, has started construction of a new 40 MW green, AI-ready data center in Navi Mumbai. The project marks the first phase of a larger 100 MW campus planned in the region, underscoring India’s rapid digital infrastructure expansion.

According to the company, the facility is purpose-built to support build-to-suit, enterprise, and NeoCloud workloads. Moreover, it will deliver next-generation, high-density computing for AI and mission-critical applications. A key highlight of the L&T AI data center Navi Mumbai is its Direct-to-Chip Liquid Cooling technology. Additionally, this system will enable efficient thermal management for advanced AI models and high-performance computing. The facility will also integrate renewable energy to ensure low-carbon digital operations.

The company said it has already performed the ‘bhoomi pujan’ ceremony to mark the project’s beginning. Additionally, the campus is designed for hyperscale growth, along with sustainable and high-performance operations. It is further expected to play a pivotal role in meeting the rising demand for advanced computing. Overall, the L&T AI data center in Navi Mumbai will strengthen India’s position as a global hub for digital infrastructure.
