Odisha approves 23 industrial projects worth 4,111 INR-Crore across 11 Districts

The State Level Single Window Clearance Authority has approved 23 industrial projects with a total investment of around 4,111 INR-Crore. These projects are expected to create 9,924 jobs across the state. The developments span sectors such as capital goods, textiles, aerospace and defence, shipbuilding, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, metals, plastics, glass, logistics, infrastructure, and tourism.

Nipha Ltd will invest over 384 INR-Crore to set up a railway component manufacturing unit in Khurda. Inventgrid India Pvt Ltd will establish an advanced multi-drone manufacturing center in Ganjam with an investment of around 300 INR-Crore. Furthermore, in the maritime sector, Northern Express Infra Developers Pvt Ltd will develop a shipbuilding and ship repair facility in Bhadrak with 339.40 INR-Crore. Tourism infrastructure will expand with two 5-star hotels in Puri and Khurda with investments of 200 INR-Crore and 210 INR-Crore. It will also expand with two 4-star hotels in Puri and Sambalpur with 70 INR-Crore and 64 INR-Crore.

In apparel, JG Hosiery Pvt Ltd will set up a garment unit in Khurda with 100 INR-Crore. Additionally, Alventa Pharma Ltd and Blue Mount Energy Pvt Ltd will invest 100 INR-Crore each in Khurda and Cuttack. The investments will be implemented across 11 districts, including Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Deogarh, Ganjam, Jajpur, Khurda, Koraput, Puri, Sambalpur, and Sundargarh. Lastly, these 23 industrial projects will strengthen Odisha’s industrial ecosystem and promote balanced regional development.
