Ceigall India subsidiary receives Provisional Appointed Date for Ludhiana Bypass

Ceigall India Limited announced that its subsidiary has received the provisional appointed date for the Ludhiana Bypass project in Punjab. The company confirmed the development through a regulatory communication received from National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) on Tuesday, March 10. The highway project carries an estimated bid cost of 923 INR-Crore.

The project involves the construction of a 6-lane greenfield Southern Ludhiana Bypass with a total length of 25.24 Km. The corridor will run from the intersection with NH-44 near Village Rajgarh to the Delhi–Katra Expressway near Village Ballowal. The bypass forms part of the Ludhiana–Ajmer Economic Corridor and will be developed under the Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM). Meanwhile, the concession period for the project has been set at 24 months.

Once completed, the Ceigall Ludhiana Bypass project will improve regional connectivity. It will further reduce congestion on existing urban highway sections. The corridor will also strengthen freight movement along the broader economic corridor network.
