Dodla Dairy subsidiary secures 7.15 Acres land for Bihar plant

Dodla Dairy Limited has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary HR Food Processing Private Limited has secured land for the dairy plant at the Motipur Cluster in Bihar. The company disclosed the development through a regulatory filing on Thursday, April 16. An anticipated 7.5 Acres has been allotted on a 90-year lease by Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority.

The land is located in the Dumaria industrial area at Motipur Cluster. It spans 311,333 SqFt across plot numbers I.P.-26, I.P.-27, and I.P.-1. The company will use this site to establish a dairy manufacturing facility. The plant will produce a range of products, including milk, dahi, paneer, lassi, butter, ghee, flavored milk, and milk-based products. The company has accepted the allotment terms and is currently completing formalities to take possession of the land.

The Dodla Dairy Bihar plant will strengthen the company’s processing capacity in eastern India. It will also support expansion of its dairy product portfolio in the region. Additionally, the facility is expected to contribute to industrial activity within the Motipur cluster and enhance regional food processing infrastructure.
