EMS Limited has emerged the lowest bidder for the Jal Nigam project in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh (UP). The company announced the development on Friday, April 17. The total contract value stands at an estimated 209 INR-Crore, excluding GST.
The project includes two sewer infrastructure contracts awarded by Uttar Pradesh Jal Nigam. The scope covers surveying, design, supply, and construction of sewer networks. It also includes house connections, rising mains, and a 23 MLD sewage pumping station. The projects will be executed over 24 months and 18 months, respectively.

The EMS UP Jal Nigam project will strengthen sewer infrastructure in Varanasi. It will also support urban sanitation upgrades and expand the company’s presence in water and wastewater EPC projects.
