Green Coke and Energy Private Limited has signed an agreement with Kakinada Special Economic Zone for the Kakinada coke plant project. The project involves an estimated investment of about 700 INR-Crore and will be developed within the SEZ in Andhra Pradesh.
The proposed facility will be set up on approximately 80 Acres of land within the SEZ. It will focus on the production of metallurgical coke, a key input for the steel industry. The project will include industrial processing infrastructure required for coke production, along with associated utilities and plant facilities.

Once completed, the Kakinada coke plant project will strengthen industrial activity within the SEZ. It will also support downstream steel manufacturing and enhance industrial capacity in Andhra Pradesh.
