Haleon Plc has announced plans to invest an estimated 2,000 INR-Crore to establish its first manufacturing facility in India. The company will develop the plant in Vijayarampuram village, Pithampur, Madhya Pradesh. The Haleon India manufacturing facility will strengthen the company’s presence in one of its fastest-growing consumer healthcare markets.
The facility will manufacture products for Haleon’s oral health portfolio, primarily under the Sensodyne brand. Additionally, the project will support local manufacturing and reduce the company’s reliance on third-party contract manufacturers in India. Haleon expects to commission the facility by 2029-30.
