Hariva Meditech Private Limited has proposed the Ujjain medical devices unit with an investment of an estimated 200 INR-Crore at the Ujjain Medical Devices Park in Madhya Pradesh. The proposal received in-principle approval for land allocation. The company has sought around an anticipated 20 Acres of land for the project.
The facility will manufacture critical care and medical technology products. These include continuous blood glucose monitoring systems, vacuum-assisted wound closure systems, anaesthesia products, and medical consumables. Furthermore, the unit will be developed within the medical devices park, which is emerging as a cluster for healthcare manufacturing. The project is expected to generate around 650 jobs upon completion.

Once operational, the Ujjain medical devices unit will strengthen domestic manufacturing of critical care equipment. It will also support the development of the Ujjain medical devices cluster and enhance regional industrial growth.
