PNC Infratech Ltd has emerged as the L1 bidder for the Pantnagar Airport expansion project in Uttarakhand, securing an EPC contract worth an estimated 302.44 INR-Crore from the Airports Authority of India. The company announced the development on Friday, May 29.
The scope includes construction of a new domestic terminal building along with parking facilities and an electrical sub-station. Additionally, the contractor will develop approach roads, ancillary structures, and allied infrastructure. The project also covers MEP works, electro-mechanical systems, airport systems, IT systems, and security systems. Further, PNC Infratech will undertake runway extension and strengthening works. The scope includes upgrades to the apron, taxiways, isolation bay, RESA, perimeter road, runway lighting system, and NAV-AIDS facilities. The contract also includes maintenance, operation, and AICMC services. PNC Infratech will execute the project within 24 months.

Once completed, the PNC Pantnagar Airport project will enhance airport infrastructure in Uttarakhand and support future passenger and aviation growth in the region.
