The Delhi Government may soon redevelop the DTC headquarters at IP Estate. This Wednesday, August 13, the DTC Board approved the 206 INR-Crore project. The Delhi State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (DSIIDC) will carry out the redevelopment work.
The new DTC headquarters will include ground plus 12 floors and 2 basements. These basements will be used for parking and building services. Meanwhile, the total built-up area will span 12,000 SqM. DSIIDC will receive 40% of the built-up area on lease for a period of 30 years. Moreover, officials proposed allocating the 6th to 12th floors to DSIIDC.

Additionally, the project will follow the PPP mode with minimal government expenditure. It will function as a semi-commercial building after completion. In recent years, DSIIDC completed land acquisition and secured environmental clearance. The agency also rationalised the property tax and submitted a draft MoU. The authorities will now sign a formal MoU to begin the DTC headquarters project. Furthermore, the tenders will be floated after signing the formal MoU.
