Invenia-STL Networks, a provider of digital infrastructure and IT services, has won a significant contract valued at an estimated 360 INR-Crore from PowerGrid Teleservices (PowerTel), a subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India (PGCIL). This major STL data center project involves the creation of a greenfield Tier III facility.
The agreement covers the complete design, build, commissioning, and maintenance of the IT and cloud infrastructure. Additionally, as part of this comprehensive project, Invenia will establish a Disaster Recovery Data center (DRDC) and provide a scalable Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) solution, complemented by disaster recovery services. The new Tier III data center will be located at PowerGrid’s facility in Manesar. This initiative is a core part of PowerGrid’s strategy to strengthen its digital infrastructure and meet future demands for data management and connectivity.

The STL data center will feature advanced cooling systems, scalable designs, and energy-efficient features. Furthermore, these designs align with India’s digital expansion and sustainability targets. The new facility will provide the necessary resilience for critical digital operations, supporting the growing demand for cloud and disaster recovery services.
