Bihar CM Nitish Kumar inaugurated Patna development projects worth over 10,000 INR-Crore, including roads, urban development, and housing schemes. The projects cover multiple districts, with five key road initiatives spanning 225.48 Km valued at 2,900 INR-Crore.
The key project is the 35.65 km J P Ganga Path extension from Digha to Koilwar Bridge, worth 6,495 INR-Crore. It will improve connectivity to NH-922, Purvanchal Expressway, and NH-319. The project will also help reduce traffic congestion on key routes. Additionally, major roads include-
- Banganga-Jethian-Gahlot 41.25 K, 361.32 INR-Crore.
- Dhoraiya-English Mor-Asarganj 58.47 Km, 650 INR-Crore.
- Hathaudi-Aurai bridge in Muzaffarpur 21.3 Km, 814.22 INR-Crore.
- Ara-Ekauna-Khaira-Sahar Path in Bhojpur 32.26 Km, 373.56 INR-Crore.
- Chhapra-Manjhi-Darouli-Ghuthni 72.18 Km, 701.26 INR-Crore.

Additionally, 1,300 urban development schemes worth 769.63 INR-Crore are rolling out across 33 districts. The CM also approved six mechanized garbage transfer stations 69.97 INR-Crore and road restoration projects in Patna Municipal Corporation 124.44 INR-Crore.
These Patna development projects are expected to transform the urban landscape, improve connectivity, and create substantial employment opportunities. With a focus on modern infrastructure, traffic decongestion, and sustainable urban planning, Bihar is set to strengthen its position as a well-connected, modern state capital.
