PG Electroplast plant through its subsidiary PG Technoplast Private Limited, will invest 1,000 INR-Crore in Andhra Pradesh. The company chose Sri City in Tirupati district for its first South India plant. Initially, the project will start with a refrigerator unit of 1.2 Million Units per year.
The company has acquired an anticipated 50 Acres in Sri City, its largest land purchase so far, to set up an integrated manufacturing campus. Meanwhile, Commercial production is expected to start by December 2026. In the first phase, the project will create over 500 direct jobs and also support logistics, components, and allied services in the Sri City ecosystem.
