In October 2025, Biltrax Construction Data documented over 1,432 new construction projects. These include 855 building projects and 577 industrial & infrastructure projects.

Building Construction Projects Insights – October 2025

The 855 new building projects incorporated in October 2025 cover a combined 185.89 Million-SqFt, with a total construction cost of 69,260 INR-Crore. Of these, 370 projects are under construction, while 485 are in the early stages. The breakdown further includes 525 private projects and 330 public projects.

Among the significant construction projects in October 2025, Hiranandani has proposed the development of a residential project, Hiranandani Sand, in Alibaug. Spreading an anticipated 225 Acres of land parcel, this development will include 3 Towers and 330 Apartments. As of November 2025, the piling work will initiate soon.

Another notable construction project in October included the development of the Medical College and Hospital, Mandanpalle, in Annamayya, Andhra Pradesh. This Miscellaneous Public Building project has an estimated construction cost of 446 INR-Crore. Being developed by Andhra Pradesh Medical Services and Infrastructure Development Corporation (APMSIDC), this project is expected to be completed by 2028.

In October 2025, Biltrax recorded 435 new tenders with a total tender value of over 19,624.46 INR-Crore. Notable tender issuers include the Building Construction Department (Bihar), Karnataka Housing Board (KHB), Military Engineer Services (MES), and Central Public Works Department (CPWD).

Industrial and Infrastructure Projects Insights

In October 2025, Biltrax’s BX-2 platform also documented 421 industrial projects worth 145,227 INR-Crore & 156 infrastructure projects worth 41,603 INR-Crore.

The 421 industrial projects span a total area of 78.59 Million-SqFt. Maharashtra led with 67 projects. Meanwhile, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, and Gujarat followed closely.

BX-2 also tracked 101 water infrastructure projects worth 15,932 INR-Crore in October. Gujarat attracted the highest number of water projects. BX-2 documented 17 water infrastructure projects in the state. Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka and Rajasthan followed closely.

October 2025 also saw major transport infrastructure projects. One such notable project is the National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited’s road infrastructure project. This project involves the development of the Gohpur- Numaligarh access-controlled greenfield highway. Additionally, it includes Gohpur spur connectivity as 4-lane with paved shoulders in Assam. The estimated construction cost of this 33.700 Km-long road project is 6,000 INR-Crore.

Lastly, a major industrial project in October 2025 includes the Lloyds Metals integrated steel plant unit in Gadchiroli. This project has an estimated investment cost of 22,000 INR-Crore. The overall construction cost of the project is projected at 18,000 INR-Crore with a construction area of approximately 2,200,000 SqFt.
