Tamil Nadu is emerging as a top destination for industrial investment. At the TN Rising investment conclave, the state signed 158 MoUs with an estimated 43,844 INR-Crore. Spanning several key districts, these initiatives show the state’s strong focus on innovation and growth.
In a notable move, Sakhti Aircraft Industry will set up a 2-seater trainer aircraft unit in Tirupur with a 500 INR-Crore investment, generating 1,200 skilled jobs. The proposed facility will be the state’s first trainer aircraft manufacturing unit. Cingularity Aerospace will set up a drone manufacturing unit in Krishnagiri, creating 500 skilled jobs. MindOx Techno plans a semiconductor equipment manufacturing plant in Coimbatore with a 398 INR-Crore investment, generating 460 jobs.

Additionally, Caliber Interconnects will invest 3,000 INR-Crore in a semiconductor and power electronics manufacturing project, creating 4,000 high-skilled jobs. Construction for most of these projects is expected to start soon, further strengthening Tamil Nadu’s growing aerospace, defense, and semiconductor sectors. Several major firms also signed pacts. Mahindra & Mahindra will set up an R&D center for software-defined vehicles and advanced automotive technologies at SVB Tech Park. Bosch Global Software Technologies will establish a Center of Excellence for software-defined vehicles in Coimbatore. Additionally, LMW Group plans an expansion project to strengthen its engineering operations.
These projects are expected to create over 100,709 jobs across different sectors. Consequently, this Tamil Nadu industrial investment initiative positions the state as a leader in India’s industrial and aerospace growth, promoting innovation, employment, and sustainable development.
