NCC Ltd announced on Tuesday, November 25, that it received a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from the Public Works (Health and Education) Department in Assam. This contract aims to expand and modernise Gauhati Medical College and Hospital in Guwahati. The project focuses on upgrading core medical infrastructure, clinical facilities, and overall hospital systems.
The contract value is estimated at 2,062 INR-Crore, and NCC will manage a broad scope of activities. The execution period spans about 42 months, with the first six months dedicated to demolition, planning, design, and engineering.

Furthermore, this project aligns with modern healthcare delivery standards and optimised construction practices in Guwahati. Additionally, the contract includes operations and maintenance for civil and services for over five years.
