Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd has secured a major civil construction order under the Central Vista redevelopment in New Delhi. The project carries an estimated cost of about 3,069 INR-Crore. The Central Public Works Department, through its Central Vista Project Division, has conferred the contract, with a completion timeline of 21 months. Given the project size, the Central Vista EPC package awarded to Ahluwalia Contracts ranks as one of the larger ongoing projects in the capital.
The scope of work includes the construction of Common Central Secretariat Buildings 8 and 9 on plots 23B and 23C along Maulana Azad Road. The Central Vista Redevelopment Project aims to modernize New Delhi’s administrative core with new secretariat buildings, a parliament and landscaped avenues, at an estimated total cost exceeding 20,000 INR-Crore.

The project will contribute to a more consolidated and efficient administrative infrastructure for Central Government operations. The project adds to the phased implementation of the Central Vista redevelopment in New Delhi.
