Chennai CM M.K Stalin laid the foundation stone for an estimated 822.7 INR-Crore transportation hub at the Broadway bus stand, which includes a multi-modal integrated transport bus terminus and commercial complex. The project will rise on an anticipated land area of around 26,240 SqM. The total built-up area is expected to be nearly 1.36 Lakh SqM.
Additionally, the project will feature a 9 storey bus terminal complex and a 10 storey commercial building. It will also include around 73 bus bays, a passenger concourse, integrated retail and office spaces & parking facilities. Furthermore, the planned Transportation Hub at Broadway will connect the High Court Metro station with MRTS and suburban rail services.

Moreover, the project is expected to generate long-term revenue through commercial leasing and retail activity. This Transportation Hub is expected to play a key role in reshaping commuter movement across Broadway.
