Convention center project in Vrindavan Yojana approved at 1,435 INR-Crore

The Uttar Pradesh Government has approved the Vrindavan Yojana convention center project in Lucknow at an estimated cost of 1,435 INR-Crore. The approval was granted on Tuesday, March 24. The project will be developed at the Defence Expo Ground in Sector 15 of Vrindavan Yojana.

The project will include an international exhibition-cum-convention center with a seating capacity of 10,000 people. Additionally, it will feature a 2,500-seat auditorium and multiple smaller halls for meetings and exhibitions. The facility will include parking infrastructure, security systems, and crowd management arrangements. It will also provide catering infrastructure to serve around 5,000 people simultaneously. Further, the design includes provisions to host large exhibitions and display heavy equipment such as industrial machinery.

Once completed, the Vrindavan Yojana convention center will strengthen Lucknow’s capacity to host large-scale national and international events. It will also support exhibition infrastructure growth and boost the city’s event-driven economy.
