Godawari Power & Ispat to set up 7,000 INR-Crore steel plant in Chhattisgarh

Godawari Power & Ispat Limited will set-up the Chhattisgarh steel plant with an estimated investment of 7,000 INR-Crore. The company’s board cleared the project on Tuesday, March 24. The integrated steel plant will be developed at Sarora in Raipur district, Chhattisgarh.

The proposed facility will have a production capacity of 1 Million Tonnes Per Annum (MTPA). It will manufacture structural steel and wire rods to cater to growing domestic demand. The funding will be funded through a mix of debt and internal accruals. Additionally, the project is will be completed within yearly about .
