The Bengaluru Business Corridor has moved forward as the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) invited tenders for the first package worth an estimated 3,348 INR-Crore. The tender was issued on Tuesday, March 31, after a long delay. The project forms part of the Peripheral Ring Road development in Bengaluru, Karnataka.
The first package includes construction of a major stretch of the proposed corridor. The overall project will develop a multi-lane road network with service roads, grade separators and interchanges. It will also include drainage systems, utility corridors and associated infrastructure. The Business Corridor aims to decongest city traffic and improve connectivity between key arterial routes.
