UP CM Yogi Adityanath and Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw laid the foundation stones for an estimated 6,750 INR-Crore manufacturing projects in Yamuna City, Jewar, Uttar Pradesh. The investment includes two major electronics facilities that will strengthen India’s domestic production capabilities.
These manufacturing projects in Jewar include a 3,250 INR-Crore advanced Printed Circuit Board (PCB) plant by ASCENT-K Circuit and an INR 3,500 INR-Crore facility by AMBER Enterprises. AMBER Enterprises will also manufacture critical HVAC components and PCB assemblies. Together, the projects are expected to create around 3,000 jobs. Furthermore, the initiative marks another major step towards expanding India’s semiconductor and electronics ecosystem.

Additionally, the manufacturing projects will produce advanced high-density and multi-layer PCBs, including boards with up to 20 and 22 layers. These components form the backbone of modern electronic devices. These manufacturing projects will further help India move from electronics assembly to advanced component production while strengthening the country’s semiconductor ecosystem. Consequently, India will reduce its dependence on importing PCBs, which currently accounts for nearly 40,000 INR-Crore annually. Moreover, these manufacturing projects are expected to attract further investment and position Jewar as the Silicon Valley of North India.
