Industrial investors from Gujarat have proposed projects worth an estimated 8,635 INR-Crore in Madhya Pradesh. The proposals emerged during an investment dialogue held in Ahmedabad on Wednesday. More than 500 industrialists, investors and corporate representatives participated in the interaction. The proposed investments could generate 5,785 jobs across multiple sectors.
Cement and packaging attracted the largest proposals. Goldcrest Cement has proposed an estimated 3,000 INR-Crore investment with 1,500 potential jobs. Agios Polyfilms has proposed an estimated 2,500 INR-Crore for a packaging project with 1,000 jobs. Gujarat Ambuja Exports has proposed an estimated 1,200 INR-Crore for food processing, while Eris Lifesciences has proposed an estimated 500 INR-Crore for pharmaceuticals. Other proposals include investments in textiles, engineering, chemicals, packaging, aerospace and defence. Meanwhile, discussions covered Torrent Power‘s proposed 1,600 MW thermal power project in Anuppur. Arvind Limited has also proposed an estimated 1,200 INR-Crore at PM MITRA Park in Dhar. The company has been allotted an anticipated 105 Acres for the project.

Madhya Pradesh is positioning industrial land, power, water and connectivity as key investment factors. The state has also highlighted industrial parks and sector-specific clusters across multiple industries. Further, discussions covered Zero Liquid Discharge systems and links between industrial parks and municipal STPs. The Madhya Pradesh industrial investment pipeline is expected to support manufacturing and industrial development across the state.
