Om Infra has emerged as the lowest (L1) bidder for the construction of the Mohmela Sirpur Barrage project in Chhattisgarh. The Water Resources Department (WRD), Government of Chhattisgarh, floated the tender. The project carries an estimated contract value of 568.98 INR-Crore. It will be developed on the Mahanadi River in Arang tehsil of Raipur district.
The scope includes the construction of the Mohmela Sirpur Barrage and a pipe irrigation network. Additionally, Om Infra will undertake the operation and maintenance of the project for five years after construction. The project combines civil engineering works with irrigation infrastructure development. It is aimed at strengthening water management systems in the region.
