The Government of Andhra Pradesh has approved the projects worth more than 2 Lakh INR-Crore during the 17th State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB) meeting held on Tuesday, March 5. Authorities cleared 25 major projects across IT, renewable energy, food processing and manufacturing sectors. The projects are expected to generate around 39,067 jobs across multiple districts.
Major approvals include a 108,010 INR-Crore data center project by Reliance Industries Limited in Visakhapatnam. The board also cleared a 51,300 INR-Crore solar power plant and battery energy storage system in Sri Sathya Sai district. Further, Adani Hydro Energy received approval for a 12,297 INR-Crore pumped storage project in Kadapa. Royal Enfield will establish a 2,508 INR-Crore motorcycle manufacturing unit in Tirupati. Additionally, Apollo Tyres secured approval for a 6,100 INR-Crore manufacturing unit in Sri City, while Carrier Air Conditioning received clearance for an 863 INR-Crore bulk chiller plant in Tirupati.

The Andhra Pradesh SIPB projects will strengthen industrial and energy infrastructure across the state. The approvals are also expected to accelerate manufacturing investments, renewable energy development and large-scale industrial expansion in Andhra Pradesh.
